To celebrate the launch of the new A/W21 collections, Tom Dixon hosted on Wednesday their first Press Preview at the Coal Office since last year’s London Design Festival. Tom presented to press the new product extensions to the award-winning PUCK glassware collection and celebrated fragrance families, FOG, ECLECTIC and ELEMENTS.
Tom welcomed guests at Coal Office restaurant, where breakfast was served in PUCK glassware on the terrace. Percussionist Beibei Wang entertained guests with a sound installation and the PUCK collection featured as the instruments for her orchestra.
Developed in response to Design Research Studio’s upcoming project for Devonshire House, the new PUCK Tumblers, Whisky Glasses and Decanter were demonstrated by whisky specialist Chris Tanner who gave a masterclass.
PUCK is a collection of glassware inspired by the basic forms of geometry, such as cylinders, cones and spheres and made of mouth-blown glass with a hint of smoke colour. Anchored with a thick base that is reminiscent of game pucks, minimal and heavy-weight, PUCK accessories are resilient enough to survive in a professional cocktail environment.
The PUCK collection is available now from online store and the new Whisky Glasses, Water Tumblers and Decanter will be available to purchase from all Tom Dixon stockists in September 2021.
