The Midwest hosts the industry as the range of traditional and technical textile professionals converge in Minneapolis, Minn., at Specialty Fabrics Expo and Advanced Textiles Expo, October 14-16. The 2014 show will take place in IFAI’s home base and prospects look good as a large majority of the 2013 conference attendees plan on making the trip to Minnesota next October. Booth sales have already exceeded numbers for the 2013 show at this time last year.
You’re invited to participate in a number of activities while contributing to the success of IFAI’s 2014 event. We are seeking dynamic presenters and panelists for conference programs. For Specialty Fabrics Expo, topics ranging from business development and sales to technological advances within the industry are of special interest.
The theme for the Advanced Textiles Conference will be medical, safety and protective applications. Proposals for innovative, varied and exciting technical programs for this conference relating to military markets, non- woven applications, nanotechnology and a number of other advanced textiles categories will be considered.
The 2014 show floor will feature an Extreme Sports Display highlighting our industry’s involvement in extreme sporting apparel and equipment. If your company works with materials in these markets, consider how you might get involved with this display—a great opportunity to call out your product and its applications.
