The Latest Retail Index shows furniture and lighting sales were strong in the last year, rising by 2.7pc in the month and 16.7pc in the year, evidence of an improving property market.
2013 Exhibitors also cited improved buyer sentiment, new accounts logged and we logged a 15% lift in visitors. Despite the difficult trading environment for our sector in the last 5 years, the results of the 2013 were promising for the sector.
