The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG) held its first annual members’ meeting in Germany, hosted by kitchen manufacturer Nobilia.
The KBBG, the UK arm of Der Kreis buying group, was launched last year with the aim of supporting its members by securing competitive buying terms from leading European brands.
KBBG managing director Bill Miller, who jointly led the trip with Der Kreis CEO Marcel Crezee, said: “It was a very successful first annual members’ meeting, giving attendees the opportunity to meet and discuss their future needs.
“The strong relationship with our European partners is there to support and give the UK retailer a great head start – all the ground work has been done. While sales growth with our suppliers is our focus for 2014, the proven European services and offers will strengthen the UK independents’ advantage and increase the members’ numbers.”
