The winners of the Technical Excellence and Innovation in Joinery Manufacture Award and the Apprentice/Trainee of the Year Award have been announced following the BWF Annual Dinner and Awards on Friday 15th November.
Technical Award Winner: Oakwrights Bath Ltd for the London Centre for the Self-Realization Fellowship Project
Apprentice/Trainee of the Year Award Winner: Luke Parry, Oakwrights Bath Ltd.
The British Woodworking Federation is the trade association for the woodworking and joinery manufacturing industry in the UK. It has over 500 members drawn from manufacturers, distributors and installers of timber doors, windows, conservatories, staircases, all forms of architectural joinery including shopfitting, timber frame buildings and engineered timber components, as well as suppliers to the industry. The total turnover of the BWF’s manufacturing membership in 2009 was approximately £450 million.
