The Balance Chair won the 2022 FX Award for ‘Public, Leisure or Office Furniture’. After a three year hiatus, the prestigious FX International Interior Design Awards, returned to London’s Grosvenor House Hotel with a bang. Celebrating the very best products and interior projects from around the globe, the awards were judged by industry experts from the fields of design, architecture and engineering.
Up against some stiff competition, the judges said of the Balance Chair “a chair that genuinely bridges the contract and domestic workspace. A ‘human’ task chair indeed. Love it. I want one.”
“Take your seat at the table with our collection of meeting chairs for every senario from quick catch up to long term collaboration.”
The Hold chair by Jonathan Prestwich has a ply shell instead of moulded foam, reducing embodied carbon compared to typical moulded foam meeting chairs. The Quiet chair by Michael Sodea has an unobtrusive and simple form with a soft rolled edge and wide choice of base options from tube legs to gas lift, four star swivel or castor base. With a cocoony and cosy seat, this one s for the comfort lovers.
The Everyday chair by Claesson Koivisto Rune has an enigmatically simple shape and, like the Hold chair, a plywood shell to reduce its environmental impact. Available with a removable cover to extend its lifespan and enable minimal waste at every refurb cycle – you can simply swap the cover instaed of the whole chair.
