Alpi veneer is embellishing the brand-new Sanlorenzo yachts. In its latest illustration, Alpi wood is adorning the interiors of the grand SP110, designed by Piero Lissoni under the able direction of Tilli Antonelli. This “open coupé” model, which was unveiled at the most recent Cannes Yachting Festival, is a harmonious combination of Sanlorenzo’s efforts to create environmentally friendly technology. It combines great performance and energy efficiency seamlessly.
The interiors provide exceptional comfort, with a design that facilitates and encourages both socialisation and privacy. Both the owner’s private lounge area and the cabins have ample space. The minimalist and beautiful design by Piero Lissoni perfectly embodies the design philosophy of the boat as a whole. To create a completely light atmosphere inside, he chose ALPI Xilo White Flamed. This wood veneer – used for the walls and furniture of the owner’s cabin and its en-suite bathroom and living area – belongs to the ALPI Designer Collection curated by Lissoni. The flawless intensity of nature is quite perfectly conferred through a sober and fragile colour scheme.
So faultless is the craftsmanship that the wood lends a very unique stylistic coherence to any space, an aesthetic choice that reflects the recognisable style of Sanlorenzo yachts, known for their sobriety and balanced proportions. The nightstands, long, low cabinet with fluted front and smooth top, base of the bed, and other furniture in the owner’s cabin are all decorated with ALPI Xilo White Flamed. The bathroom cabinetry, a significant proportion of the yacht’s wall panelling, the fluted panels on either side of the portholes in the cabin, and the lounge to the main deck are all fashioned of the same veneer.
