A new range of acoustic seating, which aims to create sound reduced spaces for quiet working or break out areas, is the latest addition to the Innovation Showcase at a world-leading furniture technology centre.
Designed and manufactured by Triumph, the new ‘Shush’ soft seating range is one of three products currently on display at the headquarters of the Furniture Industry Research Association, also home to FIRA International Ltd.
A variety of representatives from across the furniture industry supply chain visit the headquarters on a regular basis and members of the Association have the opportunity to display new and innovative products on the Showcase.
Jessica Marshall, Marketing Manager at Triumph, said: “Our ‘Shush’ range fits a variety of corporate or domestic environments and the optional acoustic panels allow users to create individual sound reduced spaces, which can be used as breakout areas or quiet working environments. The range is particularly suited to office, educational, health or government establishments. We are thrilled to have one of our products featured at the Association’s headquarters and the promotion it will bring to our new soft seating range.”
Triumph’s environment plan ensures that emphasis is placed on sustainable manufacturing. When the chair reaches the end of its life component parts can be separated into material groups and be sent to specialist companies for recycling.
Products are showcased for a four month period and offers companies a unique opportunity to gain extra media coverage when launching new products, as well as a way to display the product to others within the furniture industry.
Established sixty four years ago, the Furniture Industry Research Association was set by the industry for the industry. It provides invaluable technical support to the entire furniture supply chain and funds projects for the benefit of the industry.
