The High Point Market Authority has announced a date change for the upcoming Fall 2016 High Point Market. The original dates for the Market were October 15 – 19, 2016. Now they have been changed to October 22 – 26, 2016 in light of the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur on Tuesday, October 11 and Wednesday, October 12.
The original 2016 Market dates were chosen in 2007 and as protocol asks for, were reviewed and approved by clergy from the major religions. As respect to the Jewish calendar and for those observing the holiday who travel to and work at Market, it was decided to move the dates by a week.
The Spring High Point Market dates remain unchanged from April 16 – 20, 2016.
