vitra grand sofaGrand Sofa – by Antonio Citterio

Grand Sofa is Antonio Citterio’s interpretation of luxurious comfort and contemporary design. The designer’s Italian flair for lightness and elegance is united with the trademark quality and precision of the Swiss company Vitra.

The clean lines and geometric forms of the generously dimensioned sofa elements create a spacious platform for sitting or reclining. Despite its expansive proportions, Grand Sofa has a graceful silhouette: the slim, fabric-covered body is doubly angled to form a cascading seat, backrest and rearward ledge. The body is supported at two points under each end of the seat surface and behind the backrest by a bridge-like aluminium base frame, making the sofa appear to float above the floor. The seating elements are open on the sides, which emphasises the horizontal planes of Grand Sofa.

The seat and back cushions of Grand Sofa are available with or without tufting. Both versions are filled with high-quality padding that provides extraordinary comfort, yet each has a distinctive look. Grand Sofà is available in a curated selection of fabrics, which come in a diverse range of colours. Together with the different elements, variable backrests, and base finishes in polished aluminium or powder-coated in white or black, this opens up a multitude of possibilities for individual seating arrangements.

vitra Softshell Side ChairSoftshell Side Chair – by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec

The Softshell Side Chair, whose gentle contours are defined by its soft upholstery, provides exceptionally comfortable seating and compact dimensions: vertical ribs concealed in the upper part of the backrest offer flexibility and considerable freedom of movement – and exceptional comfort even over prolonged periods of sitting.

The Softshell Side Chair has a four-legged base made of robust plastic that accentuates the understated elegance of the design. Similar in appearance, the Softshell Side Chair and Softshell Chair can be perfectly combined at the same table. Both chairs are available in the same selection of versatile fabric or leather covers in a wide choice of colours.

vitra mariposa clubMariposa Club – by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby

The Mariposa family of sofas exudes an invitingly cosy feel with a modern touch. In collaboration with Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, Vitra has now expanded the collection with new variations: the Mariposa Club Sofa and the Mariposa Club Armchair.

Both pieces are suitable for high-quality, compact urban living spaces and for use in lounge and hospitality settings. The slimline body of both the sofa and armchair offers maximum seating comfort, while the compact dimensions take up limited space. The Mariposa Club epitomises a design philosophy that seeks quality and expressive flair in a condensed format.

Unlike the other sofas of the Mariposa family, the Mariposa Club Sofa and Mariposa Club Armchair do not have adjustable side and backrests. However, despite smaller dimensions, both pieces follow the design of their larger counterparts, offering pleasantly soft upholstery and a high degree of comfort. Their covers come in a wide selection of colours and fabrics, allowing for numerous individualisation options.
