RAK Ceramics has received the title of ‘Superbrand’ for the sixth consecutive year. The global leading, multi-award winning ceramics manufacturer based in Ras Al Khaimah collected the accolade at a Superbrands Tribute Event, which was held on June 18 at the InterContinental, Dubai Festival City.
RAK Ceramics, which is the world’s largest ceramics producer, received the prestigious market award from the Superbrand Council, an acclaimed worldwide arbitrator of branding excellence. The citation accompanying the award stated that it was being given on the strength of RAK Ceramics’ brand image, the high quality of its products, its sustained market domination, its constantly innovative range and its consistently superior services. Collecting the award on behalf of the company at the ceremony was Abdallah Massaad, CEO RAK Ceramics.
“We are delighted, honoured and proud to have received the status of Superbrand for the sixth consecutive year. The Superbrands Council is a highly regarded organisation that operates strict criteria over who receives the title, so having it bestowed once again is proof that RAK Ceramics’ continues to lead the way in its field, providing the best quality products with a service that is second-to-none,” said Massad. “I am happy to accept the award on behalf of the entire team at RAK Ceramics, as it is the tireless efforts of all the staff that has enhanced RAK Ceramics image in the region,” he added.
The Superbrands title is the latest in a long list of awards picked up by RAK Ceramics. The company’s other recent notable accolades include ‘Market Leadership’ from the Asian Leadership Awards 2013, ‘Brand Excellence in Durables’ at the World Brand Congress 2013, ‘Brand Excellence in Construction and Real Estate Sector’ from the CMO Asia Awards 2013 and ‘Best Brand’ at the CMO Asia Awards 2011.
