Northern Lights celebrate more than 25 years of service

Northern Lights long service awards 1Northern Lights presents Long Service Award to two employees, following more than 25 years of continuous service.

 
Jamie Raynor and Simon Smith were both teenagers when they started on the same day in 1987. Over the years they have seen many changes, as Northern Lights grown to be one of the largest decorative lighting manufacturers in the UK.

 
Jamie started as an apprentice stained glass maker and he is now Supervisor of the Glass Department. His skills and experience are invaluable when producing the most delicate glass fittings.

 

Simon has fulfilled a number of roles at Northern Lights from metal work through to finishing. He is now a member of the production planning team, using his knowledge of manufacturing to assist in improving lead times and ensure customers receive their orders on time.

 

Congratulating them on their achievement, Managing Director Paul Wade said ‘We are delighted to make these awards! It is people like Jamie and Simon who have helped make Northern Lights the success it is today. We have evolved significantly over the years but people have always been our greatest asset. I am proud of the skills and loyalty of our workforce and look forward to making many more presentations in the future.’
