A partner of the Paris Design Week, the Swiss watch brand RADO has entrusted industrial designer Konstantin Grcic with the task of reinterpreting their iconic Cermica watch. The designer has developed the new Ceramica collection combining sophisticated technology and minimalist luxury.
The eleven models in the new Ceramica collection develop on the minimal and innovative design approach, geometric shapes and the use of high-tech ceramic materials that made this watch iconic. Konstantin Grcic’s matt version is emblematic of the German designer’s pure and simple aesthetic vision.
Grcic says, “The face design is both bold and easily read. Inspiration came from pilot watches, which I appreciate because they are simple and carefully designed in terms of their graphics.”
This future collector’s item is made in a limited series of 701.
