As an interior designer, Kelly Wearstler finds influence in Modernism and old Hollywood glamour as created by Dorothy Draper and William Haines, and the work of architect Aldo Rossi. Her style has been described as Hollywood Regency and Maximalism. She is credited, alongside Jonathan Adler and Miles Redd, to have brought “the florid and the decorative back to interior design”.

Kelly suggests some unique and bold furniture pieces which inspires design lovers all the time.

The Sophia sofa draws inspiration from the aesthetics of mid-century modern design. It is upholstered in a neutral-coloured velvet, stitched from the top to the bottom. The base is made of gold plated brass and it has button tufted sides. The slight degree reclining turns it into a lounge sofa.

In an attempt to reinterpret the Sun in a contemporary lighting piece, the Soleil suspension lamp was conceived. With a structure in hammered brass, this chandelier will expand all over any room like sunlight rays. Let it shine, now and forever.

Huang is a mountain range in eastern China known for its spectacular scenery – there you’ll find breathtaking sunsets, majestic pine trees and views of the clouds from above. Huang is also a sideboard and it features an inside in rosewood veneer and details in hammered matte and brushed aged brass – a statement piece like no other.

Wave is an original and a stylish coffee table for a modern living room as it is also an unconventional center table for your sitting room. With great style and elegance, it creates an exclusive ambiance to your modern interiors. Developed by a Portuguese jewelry artisan, this piece is made of hand-hammered copper with a black mirror top.
