Having launched at last year’s Sleep event, Interface Hospitality – the dedicated hospitality brand from the leading modular flooring manufacturer and environmental pioneer Interface – is returning to showcase its latest global range, Human Nature.
Human Nature is inspired by the concept of biophilia, which is based on the idea that we all possess an innate attraction to nature. The range is designed to help create unique hospitality spaces that provide a relaxing and calming experience for guests.
Featuring textures inspired by natural surfaces such as tumbled pebbles or freshly cut grass, the contrast enables design flexibility, offering seamless transitions between hard and soft surfaces. Designers have the creative freedom to explore the positive affect that mimicking natural patterns, layouts and form can have on the human psyche.
The Human Nature range, which features Interface Hospitality’s innovative 25cm x 1m skinny plank rectangular tile format, offers an easy-to-maintain solution for hospitality environments. If an area becomes damaged or worn, individual tiles can be replaced rather than the entire carpet, which can save on downtime and costs, while keeping the floor looking fresh and clean at all times.
Interface Hospitality’s stand will feature a tactile experience of natural surfaces, such as rock, pebbles and grass, which is reflected in the design of the product. There will also be books on the topical science of biophilic design for guests to browse through. Guests to the stand can also access Interface Hospitality’s Custom Colour Facility, enabling them to explore how they can create their own unique floor by combining pattern and colour.
