de Sede Furniture is showing off their ability to innovate. With new creations, de Sede has made inspiring compositions of high quality materials, excellent workmanship and harmonious materials and colors. The new models at imm Cologne this year is expected to meet with great success.
Some of the new work by de Sede shown at Cologne includes:
DS-21 brings together the ease and familarity of a seating area with the grandeur of high feet. A new combination, it represents the maturing of a typology previously only found in lounges. The DS-21 has the appearance of a floating sculpture, an elevated seating area, and can be used in both private and semi-public spaces.
DS-373 is Alfredo Häberli’s homage to the de Sede’s fascination with NECK leather. The folds in this five millimetre thick leather are so elegantly arranged that a single bullhide creates an understated, perfectly formed sofa. Alfredo Häberli’s basis and inspiration for the DS-373 was a small leather elephant found at a flea market. Made from a smooth piece of leather, it features an exquisitely folded design, giving it its three-dimensional shape.
Another highlight at the fair stand of de Sede is the new fabric collection CRAFT. The subtle colors of CRAFT allow equally exciting and stylish combinations with the natural and sophisticated qualities and colors of the de Sede leathers.Breathable and dirt-resistant, robust and extremely hard-wearing loden, CRAFT gives each piece of furniture an inherently pleasant seating comfort. CRAFT is available in carefully selected, pleasant shades of classical melange.
