Boss Design Lauches Two New Products at Clerkenwell Design Week

Boss Design GroupClerkenwell Design Week sets the stage for the official unveiling of Toto – a new multi-purpose chair range designed by acclaimed British designer, Mark Gabbertas. A quiet combination of elegance, comfort and flexibility, Toto is designed to work in both hospitality and corporate environments and bears all the hallmarks of the iconic Boss Design brand.

Toto is characterised by a simple, graceful profile and significant attention to detailing. From the same overall shape, two individual variants of the chair have been created; a more formal high back version, and a lower back version that features slightly higher arms.

To offer specifiers even further scope, Toto offers a series of base options – a die cast central pedestal, a wooden frame and a wire base with further options anticipated.

A collaborative design effort between eminent office furniture designer, Paul Brooks, and Boss Design, has resulted in Zandy – a multi-purpose stacking chair that is being unveiled at CDW.

Suitable for cafés and dining areas, the compact and comfortable Zandy is the ideal chair where space is at a premium as it conveniently stacks away when not in use.

Zandy is available with plastic seat and back or with an upholstered seat and plastic back for added comfort.

An exercise in proportion and simplicity with a twist, Zandy incorporates a distinctive back that is integrated with the steel frame visually by continuing the frame form as part of the back moulding.

A new multi-functional flip-top table that has been designed to create the most efficient use of space and has recently been awarded a prestigious Design Guild Award 2014 is being showcased at this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week.

From the iconic Boss Design stable of commercial interior products, and designed in conjunction with leading British design consultants, Broome Jenkins, Deploy is designed to meet the demand of flexible working patterns and space optimisation.

A single table featuring a steel painted lightweight structure with polished aluminium leg frame, Deploy facilitates easy and effortless reconfiguration to satisfy both conference meetings and training environments, courtesy of an optional flip-top mechanism. When not is use, it can be cleverly and discretely stored away with minimum use of space and twin-wheeled castors allow the table to be moved with ease.
