The Italian company B&B Italia, one of the leaders in contemporary furniture for design home furnishings, is all set to complete 50 years in the industry. Founded in 1966, the company enters its 50th year in 2016.
To mark this milestone year, B&B Italia is launching two prominent projects signed by Antonio Citterio at imm cologne. This kicks off the celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary with the official premiere of the documentary film “B&B Italia. Poetry in the shape. When design meets industry.” made by 3D Produzioni for Sky Arte. imm cologne is ready to take place from 18-24 January, 2016.
B&B Italia has been coming up with the challenge of innovation for the Italian design industry for half a century now. The company continues to project itself toward the future with its people, production places, ideas, projects and products. In its 50th year, B&B Italia is ready to reaffirm its uniqueness and its commitment to spread the culture of design in the world.
