First launched at Decorex International in 2011 and recognised with the idfx Best Contemporary Product award, Baroncelli revisited the innovative modular system Flexus last month at EDIT by Designjunction in Milan. The showcase featured many additions to the family, introducing new components to evolve the creative potential of the existing palette, with exceptional LED technology to enhance the individual compositions and clustered arrangements.
Flexus is a unique lighting system assembled using satin gold metal curves and circles adorned with cristallo glass rods. The metal work features holes at regular intervals so that each curve, circle, glass rod and their connecting elements can be fitted at any point. Warm LED or halogen light sources provide illumination from within.
Playful, dynamic and seemingly limitless in scope, Flexus invites the user to create any composition – from complex constellations to poetically simple arcs of light – always using the same rational method of construction.
