On December 1, 2016, antoniolupi was awarded the 100 Italian Excellencies, within the Design category, at the Sala della Lupa in Montecitorio palace in Rome.
Traditionally known as the 100 Eccellenze Italiane, this award tells the story, through the history of Italian excellence amongst people, companies and institutions, about the face of “beautiful Italy”; people and companies who contribute their work and have helped to enhance the emblem of a distinctive brand recognised around the world.
The Panta Rei collection designed by Carlo Colombo is one example showcasing 100 Eccellenze Italiane. The unique quality of workmanship coupled with the ability to choose sizes, colours and finishes make Panta Rei a tailored collection characterised by excellence. The furniture, available in a lacquered or wood finish communicate with the washbasins of the collection.
The collection embarks a strong identity, in which the thicknesses of the cabinets, aesthetically important, are lightened and raised from the ground by the bevelled socket and details cut at 45 degrees. The lacquering and veneering achieved clearly marked a turning point for the company setting a standard of excellence transmitted to the rest of production.
