Commercial law firm, Taylors Solicitors and campaigners ACID (Anti Copying In Design) are hosting an event called Design Law – The Acid Test, advising on How to Handle Copycats, Knock-Offs and Cheap Imitations. The event will be held on 4th November 2015 at the ARTZU Gallery in Manchester, established as the most progressive gallery space in the north, an inspiring venue for art lovers and designers.
Design Law – The Acid Test is a new forum for designers, manufacturers and creatives, which aim to provide insight, give legal practical advice and raise awareness of design infringement and intellectual property. With expert speakers in their fields, the event promises to be an insightful and creative forum.

5.00 – 5.20pm: Tony Attard speaks on “Creativity, Design & Protection
5.20 – 5.40pm: Tony Caterall speaks on “Protecting your Intellectual Property”
5.40 – 6pm: Dids Macdonald speaks on “Creating a Pro-Active IP Strategy”
6.00 – 6.20pm: Q&A & Gallery Viewing
