Top Shows to set the trend of 2016

ffThe furniture industry is always evolving with innovations and new trends. As we welcome the New Year, here is a list of the most-awaited shows to attend in the first quarter of 2016!

From 18 to 24 January, 2016, the most acclaimed and respected furnishing show, imm cologne will kick off this year’s calendar of trade events. For months in advance now, exhibitors have booked most of the hall spaces. Several important companies will be present at Cologne with the participation of Chateau d’Ax, Recticel/Schlaraffia, Kettal, Pedrali, Hansgrohe/Axor (LivingInteriors), Klafs (LivingInteriors), Geberit (LivingInteriors) and KERAMAG (LivingInteriors).
Arne Petersen, Vice President, Trade Fair Management says, “The figures with regards to international participation are particularly satisfying. Here we are seeing double-digit growth. We believe that the current developments confirm the importance of imm cologne as a business event on an international scale. Anyone wanting to be successful with furniture simply cannot afford to ignore Germany and imm cologne, the biggest event in this market.”

ASEAN Furniture Exhibition Circuit

The Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) to be held from 1 to 5 March, 2016 will open the Asean fair circuit. TIFF, EFE, VIFA will follow in due course! MIFF is the biggest global industry event in Southeast Asia, where 80% of booth space had been booked by September 2015 with still half a year left for the show. MIFF 2016 is anticipated to host 500 exhibitors from 12 countries.

All industry eyes will be on the city of Milan as Salone del Mobile, popularly known as iSaloni fair will be underway from 12 to 17 April, 2016. A global platform for all the latest in home furnishing, the Salone is now into its 55th year, championing innovation innovation and i internationality. The number of foreign exhibitors makes up almost 30% of all the manufacturers at the fair this year.

 

President Roberto Snaidero stated, “We are ready to embark on this landmark 55th edition. It shows clear signs of being interesting and robust, in terms of both the wide-ranging commercial offering from a phalanx of the foremost companies on the national and international market, and in terms of the balance achieved between tradition and innovation in the name of quality and refinement.
