The renowned British designer, Tom Dixon will be present at the Stockholm Design Talks speaking on “Design and how not to do it” on the February 10, at 11am. Dixon’s talk is counted to be as one of the highlights of this year’s edition. His topic will cover design and what not to be done in respect to the ongoing trends for the year 2016.
Besides his talk, Dixon’s latest carpet series for the Danish manufacturer Ege will be launched at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair. The series reflects London’s industrial landscapes and they will be shown in an exclusively designed stand at the Fair, from February 9-13.
The seven rugs of the collection all carry the characteristics and geometrical motifs of the industrial buildings in London. Bricks, railway backdrops and paving slabs are all to be found in the design.
