Thonet_All_Seasons_13After a successful show at Salone del Mobile, furniture brand Thonet is gearing up for their next appearance at the Clerkenwell Design Week from May 24 to 26 in London. They will present in the Design Fields, the largest of the five exhibition venues of the Design Week in the Clerkenwell district, in the midst of Spa Fields Park.

Thonet will present their outdoor seating collection “Thonet All Seasons” and several bentwood and tubular steel classics. The new side table 1025 by Belgian designer James Van Vossel and the comfortable lounge ranges 860 and 808 will also be showcased. The side table 1025 represents solid elegance and minimalistic essence: three wooden legs placed in regular 120-degree intervals describe an imaginary circle on the floor.

bentwood table 1060The bentwood table 1060 by Dutch designer Jorre van Ast will form the convivial centre piece. It is a solid wooden table with a graphic formal language characterised by subtle details. The graceful rectangular tabletop with rounded corners and bevelled edge rests on a frame of two V-shaped pairs of legs that are cleverly connected by a traverse. The legs and traverse are made of solid bentwood and thus refer to the company’s bentwood tradition.
