Thonet launches Annual Autumn Campaign

Thonet_autumn campaignThonet is again launching its annual autumn campaign – this year, from September 1, 2017 until 30 April, 2018, each purchase of a lounge chair 808 will include an ottoman 808 H as a gift. For this campaign, two different versions are available: a high-quality nappa leather version and a model covered with a soft merino wool fabric.

 
The diversified range 808 has been finding a place in private sitting and reading areas as well as in lounges and reception areas since 2015. It was designed by the Munich based design studio Formstelle, which refers to the shape of the classic wing chair and reinterprets it in model 808. The generous seat shell and high backrest with the striking upholstery reminiscent of a collar communicate protection and security and, at the same time, openness. The swivel function with automatic return spring and an integrated, intelligent synchronous mechanism enable flexible relaxation in varying positions.

 
The natural nappa leather offered as part of the autumn campaign is part of the high-quality “Pure Materials” collection and covers the outer shell and the wave-like designed seat cushioning. A very durable, classic loden fabric from the traditional company Steiner 1888 is also available. The finely woven fabric made of 100% merino wool makes the cover very soft and comfortable on the skin. Both versions beautifully emphasise the characteristic casual cushion look of the quilted upholstery. The footstool picks up this design and, like both chair versions, rests on a finely designed, four-star stainless steel base.
