Sun 2013The 31st SUN  2013 was held simultaneously with the 28th GIOSUN International Exhibition of Toys and Outdoor Games and the 5th edition of the CAMPING & VILLAGE SHOW, the largest most important Italian B2B appointment for campsites and holiday villages, organized in collaboration with the Mondo del Campeggio Association, and which precisely in 2013 had an extraordinary expansion of expo space.

For Rimini Fiera Chairman Lorenzo Cagnoni, ´Companies´ positive comments and the figures chalked up by the expo rewarded the new positioning, on which we worked to steer the exhibition. An event of particular interest for Italy for its great representativeness of Italian-made products, a winner in terms of innovation and export, two crucial aspects with which to combat the economic complexity of this period.´

In the setting of SUN the numerous events held confirmed the expo´s role as a mine of ideas, cultural exchange network and valuable opportunity for networking and professional updating for the entire Outdoor sector, an opportunity for in-depth discussions between associations, as well as an appointment with a close ties with the local area.

These included, ´L as in Landscape´ events, conferences, projections, conversations and tasting sessions under the banner of landscape, promoted by Arspat, in collaboration with Rimini Fiera, Rimini Municipality and Rimini Province; ´Design Balneare´, organized by architect Roberto Semprini, which offered a retrospective of Romagna seaside design and architecture; ´Park of Life´, the project by Angelo Grassi which launched a new vision of public spaces, paying more attention to eco-sustainable balance, New Garden for the City, organized by PAYSAGE and SUNLAB, the international contest for under-35 Outdoor Design talents and projects by the NABA – Milan´s New Academy of Fine Arts, coordinated by architect and lecturer Giorgio Bersano.
