Sublime Comporta is a luxury resort nestled in a pine forest near the ocean, this refuge of tranquility and exudes a minimalist majesty.
An hour south of Lisbon, Comporta and its region punctuated with villages and small ports are still a well-kept secret shared by famous names like the designer Phillipe Stark, the interior designer Jacques Grange, the fashion designer Christian Louboutin, the painter Anselm Kiefer, the muse of the Farida Khelfa fashion, sometimes the Casiraghi family.
Sublime Comporta was transformed from a humble nine-bedroom project into a luxury retreat with a new set of two and three-bedroom cabana villas that come complete with private swimming pools.
The main house, all bay windows, which loves straight angles, dependencies a little strict to the beautiful tiled roof, a pool with clean lines that structure the perspective.
The architectural project was conceived by José Alberto Charrua, the new cabins are inspired by traditional Portuguese fishing huts and are hidden away in a 17-hectare forest of umbrella pines and cork trees. The interior design project was thought by Miguel Câncio Martins, he created fresh and modern interiors, which feature polished concrete walls, blue-and-white Danish linen and driftwood furniture.
The spa, which uses organic products in therapies has unique outdoor treatment rooms and a yoga pavilion enclosed by pines.
The restaurant Sem Porta has a terrace planted with olive trees. Driven by the Yugoslav-Portuguese chef Ljubomir Stanisic, the menu brings national traditions and regional products.
