A sneak peek at the January Furniture Show 2020

Published on : Monday, December 2, 2019

The January Furniture Show is just around the corner and the 2020 edition will be an epicentre of creativity, craft and commerce. The 2020 marks the 75th anniversary for privately-owned lighting company Searchlight Electric, and it has big plans for January Furniture Show. At the show, to be held from January 19 to 22, the company will showcase over 100 new products from its new 75th Year Collection – as it celebrates this milestone anniversary since the business was founded, in 1945, by Sir Sidney Hamburger.

Special attraction:

The Manchester based company brings some of its finest decorative lighting products at the show. Sales director Morris Hamburger confirms, we have been attending the show “for as long as there has been a lighting exhibition,” going back decades to when they were located at Olympia, London and we will continue our support in the forthcoming years.

Visitors to January Furniture Show are in for a treat; following success at the 2019 show, Searchlight have redesigned their stand to be even more striking. The launch of the 75th Year Collection means that the majority of product on the stand will be new. The company’s new products will continue to reflect the increased take-up of LED lighting which continues to grow at a rapid rate, in the U.K. market. The 75th Year Collection also features new crystal decorative pendants for which Searchlight is renowned.

For the first time, the Project Collection will form part of the stand layout with its own dedicated section, allowing contract buyers to view new products. “The Project range contains solutions for anywhere where people eat, sleep or drink.”

NEW Networking Platform & Website

The new Networking Platform & Website is designed to help all visitors make the most of their visit to the UK’s biggest and most comprehensive furniture and interiors show. ‘Favourite’ products and exhibitors, message, and request meetings before you get to the NEC. The website will help in locating stalls by hall, product, trail and even country.

The well organised and planned trade show will soon enrich the furniture sector.
