For the past year the FQ60XP fridge freezer has grown from strength to strength, becoming a staple member of the Smeg refrigeration range. With its ‘French Door’ style and stainless steel exterior, it is ideal for those who are looking for something a bit more contemporary than the 50’s range, while still having the technology and quality which has become synonymous with Smeg. It is for this reason that Smeg are delighted to announce that the FQ60 will now be available in two new exciting colours.
The new black and white models are perfectly fitting for a sleek monochrome kitchen that oozes with contemporary style. The simple two shade trend is currently making a big impact on kitchen design, and you only need to take a look at these pictures to see why.
The FQ60NPE (black) and the FQ60BPE (white) both have the same huge capacity and contemporary aesthetics as the FQ60XP, but with the addition of an external LCD display which shows the status of ‘fast freezing’ and ‘fast cooling’, as well as the Multi-zone and child lock options.
Smeg’s FQ60 fridge range is perfect for the design conscious, who equally require large capacity. The fridge holds extra wide storage (internal width of 80cm), two ‘Life Plus’ drawers, LED interior light and automatic defrost feature. On top of this, the freezer contains an internal ice maker, as well as a fast freeze function and completely frost free. This, added with a thaw time of 15 hours, results in a powerful, high functioning fridge, which offers a lot of diversity.
With a large 610 litre capacity, the fridge freezer also includes 77 litre MultiZone compartment which can serve as with a fridge or a freezer depending on which is needed most. This highly adaptable element of the unit offers the users the chance to maximize their storage area and make the most of the space available. Finally, the unit is rated A+ for energy efficiency, plus a noise level of 43 dB(A), resulting in eco-conscious fridge freezer which is virtually silent.
