RAK Ceramics was present at Big 5 to showcase its tiling and bathware products that have made a splash at exhibitions across the globe. It has recently undertaken a successful global road show showcasing its latest product lines, a tour that culminates with Big 5, which took place from November 25-28 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
“Big 5 is a magnet for construction customers from across the GCC and we will be using the exhibition to underpin our market-leading position not just as the largest ceramics and porcelain manufacturer in the world, but also the one with the most innovative and stylish product offerings,” said Abdallah Massaad CEO, RAK Ceramics. “We have just conducted a successful roadshow that took us to Europe, Iraq, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia where our European-designed products proved to be very popular with customers,” he added.
This year marks the 12th consecutive year that RAK Ceramics has participated in the Big 5, so named because it features five construction shows under one roof. The exhibition brought together architects, civil engineers, interior designers, contractors and developers in what is the Arabian Gulf’s largest construction trade show. The four days of networking provides ample opportunity to network and identify and source the latest products and services in the industry.
Among RAK Ceramics’ new tile collections it will be displaying at Big 5 are its Wood Art Collection, a series of novel and contemporary Gres Porcellanato wood finished tiles that form part of the company’s commitment to offer eco-friendly products that are an alternative to natural wood. Included in the Collection is the Vintage tile, which is inspired from gracefully aged wood, with warm tones to decorate interiors.
RAK Ceramic’s Stone Collection of Gres Porcellanato tiles included the Sheer Stone series, which reflect the earthly and sober tones of natural marble, giving interiors a warm and soothing ambience. Within its Concrete Collection, RAK Ceramic’s Cementina Décor tiles feature bold and fading strokes of cement. The range also includes Vietnam, which is made with stencils of various geometrical flowers, suiting a contemporary design style. The tiles are produced in 60 x 120cm formats for both wall and floor applications.
RAK Ceramics will also be exhibiting its Surface, Sheen and Metallic Collections at this year’s Big 5. With its sporting concrete texture, the Surface tile is ideal for modern architecture.. The Sheen collection is a brand new range of ceramic tiles manufactured using the latest technology. The collection possesses subtle shades of gold and combined with light and delicate designs to give a gleam of gold to homes. The Sheen Collection includes Morisa, Polar and Augusta tiles.
In addition to its tile collections, RAK Ceramics will be showcasing its European design bathware range, which includes Opulence, Elena and Metropolitan. Boosting the company’s eco-credentials is the KLUDI range of faucets for which it is the sole distributor. The range of ISO-Certified water-saving devices for kitchens and bathrooms are expected to be a big hit at Big 5.
