Making its debut at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2018, Nuura is a new Danish lighting brand that creates unique and aesthetic lighting. The brand was launched at the fair with four new collections.
Inspired by the sensuousness found in the Nordic nature, Nuura designs eclectic lighting collections with a modern and contemporary touch. Danish design combined with elegant light makes the Nuura lamps beautiful objects with their organic and stylish expressions, even when turned off. In its entirety, the lighting from Nuura compliments the atmospheres in residential, hospitality and corporate spaces.
As a centre of all four collections, the chandelier is interpreted into pendants and lamps for the wall, table and floor. The collections are named Anoli, Blossi, Liila and Miira.
Anoli consists of elegant glass pendants shaped like a drop and inspired by a rainy day during autumn. Blossi is a lamp collection created from rounded surfaces which are continued in glass and metal and combined with state of the art technology. Liila spreads a beautiful and playful light through the minimalistic design. Miira is a balanced collection in a timeless design where each lamp compliments each other and gives an evocative light.
Nuura is the new modern classic and demands the highest quality in the production. The neatly mouth blown glass is a continuous feature in all four collections and is available in opal white, clear or optic. The special coating on the metal parts comes in the unique colours, Nordic Gold and Rock Grey. All production is in Northern Europe.
The four new collections are designed by award-winning Danish designer, Sofie Refer. Together with Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, she founded Nuura in 2017.
Through the Danish roots and global vision, Nuura wishes to spread unique Nordic light through lamps and chandeliers in a sleek and timeless design.
