Visitors of Interiors UK will discover the exciting new releases by Louis de Poortere paying homage to the latest trends in the world of interiors.
Louis de Poortere will introduce the nostalgic charm of the newly released Cameo collection. Beautifully suited to homes looking for French country style, the successful Multi and Fedra designs have been reworked and added to with the new Savonnerie design, all featuring distressed texture for a gently worn, antique look. Woven on Jacquard Wilton looms in a combination of wool and cotton chenille, the rugs are available in a soft pastel palette of delectable shades such as pistachio, cream tea yellow and pompadour pink.
To accompany Cameo, another highlight will be the brand new Louis de Poortere rug collection Fading World, set to be extremely popular in a variety of once rich yet now faded colours such as wild ruby, blue night, atlantic deep, dark pumpkin and imperial jade. The rugs come with a choice of two symbolic designs, Medallion and Old Kilim each with their own historic story to tell. All rug collections are available in eight sizes and have an anti-slip backing for a secure fit.
Alongside the new Cameo and Fading World rug collections, developments in the broadloom collections will certainly catch the eyes of visitors looking for sumptuous style and high performance carpet. Not to be missed will be the fresh new colourways transforming well-known Louis de Poortere classics as well as glimpses of the brand new carpet ranges set to join the best-seller ranks.
Released with acclaim at the Flooring Show earlier in the year, Louis de Poortere will show the five exclusive new styles Urbanite, Catkin, Superbirds Velvet, Superbirds Comfort and Super Hermes. Urbanite brings a flat weave structure in 100% pure wool, perfectly poised for urban dwellers in seven popping brights, while Catkin’s combination of wool and mercerised cotton give a beautiful silk look. With Super Birds Coupe, Super Birds Boucle and Super Hermes; three different textures are available in two colourways offering ultimate sophistication in 100% pure wool.
Colour updates to existing collections are numerous, with seven new and essential colours added to the 100% wool woven velour of Richelieu. The 100% wool velvet President will receive seven new colours in its portfolio of 16 shades, while the ultimate velvet of 100% wool Ultratone now comes from stock in four colours and a 4.57m width. Dune sees four new colours, while the contemporary pinstripe of Move gets six new colourways in its 80/20 mix. The broad stripe of Color Full, available in 0.70m runner and 4.57m broadloom, is refreshed with one new colour combination, while the runner or broadloom of the Color Loop woven wool pinstripe also gets one new colour for 2014.
