Published on : Thursday, May 12, 2016

LivingKitchen_ENA good ten months before the show is due to open its doors in January 2017, LivingKitchen is already enjoying strong international popularity. With its broad range of lifestyle offerings, lots of top-class events, global megatrends and the famed Cologne business factor, the fourth LivingKitchen will get the year off to a perfect start for the international kitchen sector.

More than 200 exhibitors from over 20 countries are expected, with major players in the industry such as nobilia, Schüller, Häcker Küchen, die BSH Group, Miele, zeyko, Allmilmö and Blanco having already signed up, along with many new exhibitors, including Valcucine, Alpes-Inox, Florim Ceramiche, Möbelwerke Decker, Stadler Edelstahl und Sharp Home Appliances.

LivingKitchen has found its own dynamic – with tremendous appeal for the international kitchen sector as well as end customers. Conflating the requirements of both target groups within one show, the concept is a proven success that will provide new momentum in 2017 when the show takes place for the fourth time. Held in parallel with the international interiors show imm cologne, the largest and most comprehensive furnishing showroom in the world will open its doors to the many trade visitors and end consumers in Cologne.

The international success of the format’s past six years will again be built upon and enhanced for the upcoming event. This will be achieved through, for example, attracting a greater number of interesting visitor groups from important markets in the US, Asia and Europe, especially Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, Austria and Spain in the case of the latter. The focus is not just on visitors from the kitchen sector but also other multipliers such as architects, designers and project planners.

Global megatrends will again be a part of the show in 2017, which will showcase their latest developments and facets. With a view to conducting business in globalising markets, imm cologne/LivingKitchen serves as an ample meeting place for all kinds of encounters. Besides a broad exchange of knowledge, social interaction is also key. LivingKitchen is the ideal venue for networking and matchmaking and getting direct feedback from well-informed international trade visitors.

LivingKitchen not only offers the most up-to-date and innovative hardware, but also presents the perfect lifestyle elements for the boom areas of kitchen interiors, cooking and living. Besides homeliness and comfort, LivingKitchen also stands for an appreciation for trends and has established itself over the years as a hot spot for the latest developments in interior design and culinary culture.

A good ten months before the show is due to begin, Living Kitchen 2017 is therefore a fixed date for the international kitchen sector. Some important parameters have also been set already, including the allocation of exhibition areas across the halls. LivingKitchen will again take up a central position at the Cologne exhibition grounds, with an exhibition space covering some 42,000 square metres in Halls 4.1 and 4.2 as well as the upper level of Hall 5 – directly adjacent to the Pure segment of imm cologne, specifically the Pure Editions halls.

Current signs indicate that the great interest shown by Italian exhibitors in LivingKitchen 2015 will continue in 2017.
