Danish retail chain of household products, has opened its first store in Vietnam, in the capital city Hanoi. Selling everything from mattresses to furniture and interior décor, JYSK has global presence in 40 countries. The store is located in Aeon Mall, a brand new shopping centre.
Frederik Kroun, the franchise director said, “We have been looking forward to our opening in Vietnam, and we are very happy about the positive response from the customers that we have already gotten. Vietnam is an exciting market with a lot of potential, and we are looking forward to expanding with even more stores.”
The JYSK franchisee has been given to the Vietnamese company NeatClean JSC. Expansion plans are already underway, and 10 – 20 more stores are expected to open in the next five years.
