The only event to be linked permanently with the Salone del Mobile.Milano, space&interiors is expected to take centre-stage during the Milan Design week from April 12 to 17. Organized by MADE expo, the leading trade show for architecture and the building construction industry, space&interiors showcases the finest architectural and design finishes.
The event puts leading-edge materials and ideas in the architectural spotlight. space&interiors will be disclosing the various component parts of a series of living spaces, from walls and ceilings to surfaces and materials, suggesting different interpretations and giving the visitor a new map for discovering home interiors, in which every element plays a starring role. Home interiors derive their identity from the relationship between these elements in terms of the expressive, functional and innovative properties of the materials, the technology, the lighting, the acoustics and the tactile experience.
space&interiors 2016 is being curated by Migliore+Servetto Architects. Highlights of the event include New Components Code – an exhibit offering a thoughtful interpretation of the solutions staged by the exhibitors. The exhibit area features booths with an integrated design concept that creates a welcoming and dynamic atmosphere and at the same time highlights the quality of the individual products on display. The exclusive Lounge area is open to exhibitors as the ideal space for business meetings, adding a touch of Design Week glamour.
space&interiors also offers a chance to put questions to three top architects – Ferruccio Laviani, Tiziano Vudafieri and Cino Zucchi – who will be discussing the latest hot-button issues in contemporary design.
