Recently described as a ‘creative jack-of-all-trades’ by Stylepark, Luca Nichetto and his team continue to combine their craft to different areas of expertise. Read on to find out more about the studio’s new shop windows for Hermès, an upcoming exhibition on Murano glass curated by Luca, our next podcast episode – plus a look at how it all started back in the Foscarini days.

Hermès has commissioned Luca to create the first ‘vitrines d’artistes’ for the maison’s renovated store in Milan’s via Monte Napoleone. Baptised ‘Mythological Renaissance’, the four displays are the third shop windows by Nichetto Studio for the French artisanal house. See them now until the end of September 2021, the installation marks the reopening of Hermès’ Milan boutique with a design language which merge Parisian creativity with Milanese atmosphere and Italian savoir-faire.

Empathic is an exhibition on the creativity, experimentation and design of Murano glass. As the curator of the show, Luca calls on a diverse group of eight international designers to reimagine and design with various techniques of Murano traditional glassmaking. Opening on 11 September 2021, Empathic runs until 10 April 2022 at In Galleria, Punta Conterie in Murano, a cultural institution endorsing the island’s industrial heritage and the future of craftsmanship co-founded by Alessandro Vecchiato and Dario Campa.

Opinionated continues with a second episode starring Spiller. Tune in to listen to the world-renowned DJ and Producer discuss the relationship between music, design and sound with Luca. Opinionated is Nichetto Studio’s new monthly podcast series, in which Luca shares his views on design and the world in conversation with friends, colleagues, and special guests from around the world.
