FlaminiaFlaminia presented its new designs at the Salone del mobile 2014 furniture fair, with new products and extensions to the existing ranges, at Flaminia Village, a striking conceptual installation, and in its showroom premises.

The intense blue of the Mediterranean greets Flaminia’s guests during the Salone del Mobile 2014 furniture fair to convey the beauty of Italian manufacturing through designs that are the work of key contemporary designers. The company, a leader in the ceramics industry, has used design to create new trends and cutting-edge codes in the bathroom furnishing industry. It played a leading role during the Milanese design week in Pavilion 24, stand F05 of the Fiera di Rho fair grounds, as well as in the showroom premises in Via Solferino, Milan.

At the fair, Flaminia will be recreating a conceptual village with three blue houses set in the midst of greenery. They will be interpreted by Jasper Morrison, Nendo and Patrick Norguet, three top-flight names who, over the course of time, have put their names to some of the company’s most successful products. The style input they have provided has enabled Flaminia to offer high quality products that meet the needs of increasingly aware customers, who view the bathroom as a place of wellbeing.

Jasper Morrison, in keeping with his simple yet sophisticated approach, proposes a white space finished with tiles marked with dotted lines in which the sinks, toilets and bidets of the Bonola collection created by the English designer stand out.

The room unveiled on crossing the threshold of the setting created by Nendo resembles a laboratory. Here, the designer reveals the genesis of Roll: a straight ribbon-like roll of ceramic wrapped around itself to create a sink.
An effect full of contrasts and illusions has been created by Patrick Norguet represented the Nile range. The elements are placed in a magical setting of tiles and reflective surfaces which infinitely mirror the elements of the collection.

Flaminia Village, a setting conceived under the watchful eye of Giulio Cappellini, Art Director of Flaminia, reveals the eclectic spirit of the company which uses a variety of architectonic codes to interpret ceramic to the highest standards.

The process involves good design, research into outstanding materials, and versatile products. Characteristics which, when combined with the value of all-Italian manufacturing, have allowed the brand to carve out a place for itself as a leader in bathroom furnishings.
