From January 18 to 24, Ethimo introduced some of its new products for 2016 at imm Cologne. The Nicolette Chair was unveiled for the first time on this special occasion, the armchair in cast aluminum designed by Patrick Norguet.
Nicolette combines together the aluminum frame, the acrylic thermoformed fabric used for the back, and the teak backrest. This mix of materials makes the chair extremely comfortable and refined, creating a kind of outdoor furniture which highlights the continuity between outdoor and indoor environment.
Patrick Norguet’s Swing collection was also showcased during the fair. It is successful mix between pickled teak and metal that creates comfortable lines with modern and innovative design. Swing is the expression of comfort and elegance: the two-seat or three-seat sofa, the armchair, the coffee table and the porch swing, which plays the lead role in the whole collection. This collection is a set of elements designed for outdoor living. It is characterized by sinuous lines and high quality materials, able to pamper body and mind.
Ethimo also presented the lounge high back armchair, the love seat, the rectangular coffee table and the sun lounge bed. These are the latest elements designed by Norguet in order to complete the Knit collection. The woven flat rope is combined once again with natural teak, or black mahogany, creating new possibilities of comfort with a unique and refined appearance.
Ethimo’s exposition during this important German furnishing week was completed by the lighting collection – Carrè, Ginger and Tour, the evergreen “director’s chair”, the Stitch armchair, the Flat table and the Costes collection.
