The world’s largest meeting place for Scandinavian furniture and lighting design, the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair is going to open next week from February 9 to 13, 2016. From this year on, the Fair has introduced a new award – Editor’s Choice. This will be given in three categories: Rising Star, Best Stand and Best Product.
Cecilia Nyberg, Project Area Manager of Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, said, “We’re delighted to be launching our new Editors’ Choice Award. As we’re an international fair, we feel it’s important to have an international jury to give us the benefit of an outside perspective on the Fair’s exhibits.”
The Editors’ Choice Jury will be made up of editors-in-chief from some of Europe’s most influential design forums. The 2016 Jury is going to have Marcus Fairs, Adeline Seidel and Walter Bettens, all three heading renowned design publications.
The Award Ceremony will take place on February 10 at the Stockholm Design Talks.
