A custom-made creation, halfway between seriality and customisation, Porro’s home can be suited to clean, definite settings modulated by the rigour of black and white, as well as to soft, intimate interiors enlivened by the warmth of wood and by decorations: each creation is a world of its own, a unique alchemy between space, matter and colour, always revealing the unmistakable mix of style and savoir-faire which represent the brand’s distinctive mark.
The new Materic table emerges in the space with its clear and rigorously fashionable aesthetic, a decorative object that juxtaposes the absolute simplicity of its form with the attention to detail and workmanship. It is surrounded by the unimpeachable style of the Voyage chairs, with a stained maple structure and a leather skintight gown, recalling the essential style of Modernism, with no superfluous elements. On the wall, a new Modern sideboard shows glossy grigio seta lacquered doors and black stained hemlock or rosewood open modules, creating a contemporary vintage atmosphere, where retro mixes up with today’s best design. In some sort of clash between lightness and solidity, Boutique Mast transforms itself in an open cabinet and large capacity bookshelf for the day area, composed of iron uprights and 4mm reduced thickness shelves, with 2 rosewood open boxes with grigio seta interiors.
Solid woods, strong chromatisms, graphic plays: in the second dining room with a ‘50s imagination, the plastic presence of the Galileo table in black stained ash, with an oval surface and sensually tapered legs, is matched with the sinuous lines of the upholstered Garda chairs with natural ash structure and red fabric covering. A Load-It composition combines burnished brass back panels and shelves. Designed to contain plates and glasses, the new low version of the Gallery sideboard has a single horizontal black stained hemlock door, which slides down, revealing giallo mustard lacquered interiors standing out on an enlightened mirror backdrop. Daring colours contrasting with the classic preciousness of the Sahara Noir marble top with its white-rust veins on the black base, which make it a treasure chest/display case for precious possessions: the most beautiful glasses, rare bottles, and prized whiskeys.
INDUSTRIAL AND CONTEMPORARY
In the last dining room area, with an industrial and contemporary appeal, the Metallico table amazes for its unusual finishes, matching black painted aluminum sheet legs with a new pale moon top, available also in all the 16 woods of Porro collection. Its essential but sculptural shapes meet the new Pioggia padded chair, with black stained ash tapered structure and green fabric cover. Essential yet distinctive project, to be personalized in the mix of materials, it can be declined in a totally black key, in delicate nuances or daring with color, bringing a new convenience and expressive possibilities to the dining room and work areas. On the wall, the 2400mm long Gallery sideboard is a clean and rational architectural space, traversed by a horizontal cut: 2 wide Canaletto walnut wings that separate with a light touch, revealing precious enlightened interiors. Finally, like an abstract painting, a mono-material Load-It bookcase is presented with back panels and shelves in the new “porfido” grey finishing, for a not-flat color that is rich in nuances and depth.
