Diament Meblarstwa 2013 (furniture diamond) for inspiration “Brzoza POLSKA!” found itself in a prestigious group of furniture and materials and semi-finished products for furniture industry was awarded in the seventh edition of “Diamenty Meblarstwa” contest, organised by a magazine company.
A unique on the Polish market project of a complex concept of design and product, starting from designers’ idea through decorative papers through wood-based materials was awarded with a “diamond” statue in “Inspirations” category. During the V final contest gala, organised on 12 December in the Warsaw theatre Sabat the statue Diament Meblarstwa was handed over to Roman Klejzerowicz, Pfleiderer Grajewo S.A. Group Product Manager.
The jury consisted of 75 experts: traders, architects, scientists, media representatives and designers appreciated the unique character of the project, involvement and the effective collaboration of its participants. The design and the product effect was appreciated very positively as well: collection of three decors consistent with prevailing designing trends.
Brzoza Ojców is a projection of natural, shaped by difficult conditions of mountain environment wood. This decor is “wild”, full of irregularities and contrasts — reflecting the tendency for the most precise projection of a given type of wood in decors. Zieleń Ojców. is a beautiful, soft shade collaborating with many wood-based decors. Its colour scheme also refers to the trendy vintage stylistics. And finally, Kora Ojców is an abstract, geometrical pattern of “false uni” type — difference between two warm white shades — background and pattern — is so subtle that it can be seen only from a short distance. This kind of propositions have dominated recently among fancy decors.
The official premiere of “Brzoza POLSKA!” was conducted during Łódź Design festival (18–28 October 2012). It is now being introduced to the market. Many leading Polish furniture manufacturers are interested in new patterns — Roman Klejzerowicz receiving the award said that during the March fair “Meble Polska” in Poznań , “we will probably see first furniture produced using the new decor collection. “Our products can be compared to a diamond — they need an appropriate setting to shine. And the furniture using their design value is this setting”.
