Broyhill Furniture is vacating its longtime showroom in the World Market Center here and will share a space with sister company Lane Home Furnishings at this month’s Las Vegas Market.
Broyhill had occupied space A-1053 for the past eight years. Now it will share a space with Lane, which is in A-1042 and A-1046.
Company executive Mark Stephens said the change will allow both companies to concentrate their Vegas efforts on new product. In the past, both companies showcased both new and inline bestsellers in their showrooms.
“The space will be split between the two and this will be consistent with our strategy to only show new goods there,” Stephens said. “We still consider it an important market.”
He added that the sharing of space is “an opportunity for us to leverage the strength of the two brands across all categories.”
Lane focuses on motion and stationary upholstery as well as home entertainment and occasional furniture. Broyhill is a full-line resource offering bedroom, dining room, occasional, upholstery and entertainment furniture.
