B&B Italia has become the majority shareholder in Arclinea, a leader in high-end designer kitchens.
The agreement foresees the development of a strategic partnership that leverages the full potential of the respective product ranges – combining both companies’ common abilities to create unique design and innovation through an industrial approach of excellence.
The operation will enable B&B Italia – the leader for more than 50 years in designer furniture for both indoor and outdoor environments – the opportunity to expand its product offer, and to enter into the high-level designer kitchen market segment.
The partnership will also provide Arclinea additional avenues to substantially accelerate its growth plans worldwide. B&B Italia has signed an agreement to become the majority partner of Arclinea. The Fortuna family, the current sole shareholder of Arclinea, will retain a minority stake, and will continue its role in the operational management. Silvio Fortuna will remain president of the company.
