Very Wood products once again returns to the forefront with MAXX by Steigenberger Vienna, design hotel under the aegis of the Deutsche Hospitality family brand. Located in a building by British architect David Chipperfield, the MAXX by Steigenberger is found in Margaretengürtel in the fifth district of Vienna, just a few steps from the Mariahilferstraße stores. Its position, in one of the main European sites for quality of life, internationalism and tourism is reflected also in the overall design of the hotel that in this way adapts very well to the city context.
The interiors of the MAXX by Steigenberger have been designed and carefully chosen and researched in finest detail by architect and designer from Alto Adige, Matteo Thun, with whom Very Wood has productively collaborated often, and who for the furnishings of the rooms has used the fabric version of the Bergère armchair of the Onda collection, in particular.
All 195 rooms and suites are furnished in a modern style that calls to complete relaxation. The sinuous lines of the Bergère armchair provide just the right touch of comfort to the spaces while still maintaining the elegance identifiable of the collection designed by Werther Toffoloni for Very Wood. The exquisiteness of the fabrics, presented in a refined colour like aquamarine blue and paired to the white and gold finishes of the rooms, fits in perfectly with the sophisticated context of the MAXX by Steigenberger in Vienna.
Onda Collection
The Onda collection includes chair, side chair, lounge chair, Bergère armchair and settee, stool, pouf and coffee table. The structure of the chairs is resistant and harmonious, made of beechwood, with padded seating and backrest and covered in fabric or leather of various colours. The seat padding rest on elastic webbing for greater comfort and functionality. The Bergère, in two different interpretations – armchair and settee, in addition to being particularly comfortable and accommodating, have a convenient headrest to the side promoting top quality rest and relaxation. It is also possible to request the seating with removable covers for even easier cleaning.
