Astro’s new Cortona pendant brings effortless style to contemporary yet understated lighting schemes in a wide range of domestic and hospitality settings.
“I’ve always been attracted to large glowing glass pendants – they seem to provoke quite a magical, emotional pull,” said Design Director James Bassant. “The egg-like shape of Cortona seems to enhance this feeling.”
Created by Astro’s design team in the UK, this highly adaptable luminaire can be specified with LED and is conceived to work equally well as stand-alone piece or as a cluster. It comes in a choice of two sizes: 240mm and 320mm, both with a maximum drop of 1,800mm.
