Artemide participated at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2018 with lighting products and systems, as well as with advanced interactive solutions that are the result of the Company’s on-going research and technological innovation.
A new Human Light combines next-generation products with smart interaction systems. Starting from Ameluna, the first Artemide product managed by App and developed in 2016 in cooperation with Mercedes, up to the Alphabet of Light system by BIG, which comes in different versions and develops in space to display the potential interactions allowed by the Artemide App at best. The Outdoor version of Nur paves the way towards an advanced dialogue in a smart city context. It is an intelligent platform that combines scenic and functional lighting and can be integrated into a smart and “SENSEable” city network through a series of technological tools. This allows the measurement of different parameters of usage and data exchange open to different applications.
There is also Lot, the Light over Time projector family that offers a new interpretation of dynamic white and coloured light.
These products, like the architectural systems A24, Sharp, Vector, and Algoritmo, offer flexible patented lighting solutions, a perfect expression of the optoelectonical skills of Artemide that are deployed to provide performances fit for a variety of application fields – including office, retail, and hospitality. Artemide develops a light that is focused on perceptive, psychological, and physiological aspects with the Tunable White versions and products for total environmental quality, including the acoustic collection capable to absorb sound reverberation.
The display included products originated from cultural synergies and design partnerships with outstanding international architecture firms and designers, from Yanzi by Neri & Hu to Unterlinden by Herzog & De Meuron, as well as the Orsa family designed by Foster & Partner.
The culture of light of Artemide was also conveyed through iconic products of the design collection, the expression of the best of Made in Italy production and of high manufacturing quality. These included the new Calipso, the iconic Nur in the new colour versions, Empatia, Febe, Pirce and, last but not least, the Tolomeo family that, after 30 years, renews itself with new versions and is always “ready for anything”.
