Ambiente “Goes Subcontinent”

From 19 to 21 June 2014, Ambiente India will take place for the first time in India’s capital city, New Delhi. This means that it immediately becomes the leading event for concepts of home design, furnishings and accessories. As sector meeting place for the wholesale and retail trades, Ambiente offers brand manufacturers, suppliers, interior designers and interior architects a major platform for establishing and extending business contacts. On top of that, it provides an inspirational platform for the Indian market and a comprehensive survey of the new products and trends in the product groups related to Dining, Giving and Living.

Factors such as the growth of cities, increases in available income and the above-average development in the hotel and hospitality trade, as well as in the property sector, are the main market incentives in products for the home and living, furnishing and decorating. According to a recent BRICdata study, the market volume for products relating to interior design and decoration will have grown to 48.5 billion dollars by 2016. Moreover, growing consumption in India is expected to create increasing demand for products for the home.

 

Ambiente India will be held in parallel to Heimtextil India at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in New Delhi. For exhibitors and visitors alike, the trade fair will therefore provide an effective and efficient range of topics with synergy effects. The successful structure of the product groups Dining, Giving and Living enables visitors to get a comprehensive overview of everything relating to the Table, the Kitchen and Housekeeping, as well as Giving and Living.
