ALPI debuts French Palette curated by Piero Lissoni

ALPI’s all new “French Palette” collection takes its inspiration from the French painting of yester years and turns the interior into tranquil destination. Inspired by the paintings of early 1700s, where the tones were often delicate, light, not without a daring touch of luminosity the new collection is curated by the designer Piero Lissoni. A project that takes the research on color to a higher step, or perhaps a more precise, refined interpretation, conveying ALPI’s deeper sense of the material and its aesthetic culture. Each color comes from careful study, during which Piero Lissoni, together with the ALPI technical division, has measured and balanced every single nuance to achieve the desired effect.

A palette of soft but forceful tones, hints of evergreens and more refined nuances like teal blue and burgundy. A chromatic path of great elegance, thanks to Piero Lissoni’s unique ability to select a range of very precise, never banal tones.

The new collection is produced in poplar wood from Italian arboriculture sites, and hence with totally sustainable raw materials. Ecological renewable raw material par excellence, poplar wood stands out for its environmental qualities, including a remarkable ability to absorb the CO2 present in the atmosphere, typical of fast-growth species, and to cleanse the water absorbed from the ground, restoring it in pure form to the environment, through transpiration. The certification issued by SGS guarantees the agricultural and Italian origin of the material. Furthermore, the FSC® certification (FSC-C004666) assigned to the company ensures the correct, responsible sourcing of the wood in keeping with the strictest environmental, social and economic standards.
