The Australian Furniture Association (AFA) is calling for suitably qualified nominations for both Elected and Independent Directors for the upcoming Annual General Meeting to be held in November 2014.
The AFA works to a government endorsed Strategic Plan developed to support its work as the peak industry body for the entire industry supply chain and deliver sound practical solutions for its Members and the wider community.
The eligibility criteria for nomination and appointment to this important Board is outlined in the attached documentation and we encourage all nominees to read the Strategic Plan and Constitutional information in conjunction with making the final decision to nominate.
Nominations close on 10 October 2014 with all approved nominee information to be circulated to voting members within the appropriate AGM timeline as per the rules of the Association.
