Workroom Studio executes smashing design project in Melbourne

AGUSHI Construction and architecture & interior design studio Workroom’s latest design project Huntingtower is a dazzling masterpiece of design and architecture, a multimillion-dollar home located in the charming and relaxing suburbs of Melbourne.

The new 4-bedroom residence is home to AGUSHI’s Founding Director, Bear Agushi and his family. This luxury house unfolds dramatically from the street; an imposing 3-storey box cantilevered over glass rooms and embedded in sunken gardens.

The connection between the building and the inhabitant is grounded through a rigorous exploration of scale, form, space and material. There is a certain mystic around the house, the way it bounds with nature. The delicate palette of materials and intricate detailing bestows elegance and luxury. At Huntingtower, the entire experience is lavish. There’s a chef’s kitchen, fully appointed butler’s pantry, a resort-style alfresco zone with pool and outdoor kitchen, and carefully curated gardens by renowned landscape architect, Jack Merlo.

The combination of materials creates such a sense of wonder throughout the house. Finished with natures’ own stone, the timelessness of European Oak parquetry flooring and the richness of beautiful brass fixtures tell a story of sophistication and glamour. The nature itself created the house that screams elegance and passion from the very first minute you walk in. With plenty of natural elements such as raw steel and pure stone and concrete, the house flourishes into something almost unreal.

The luxury home delivers first-class living and entertaining precincts, state-of-the-art appointments and a sense of indulgence throughout, which includes four bedrooms with individual bathrooms and a secure four-car basement garage.

Interior stylist Simone Haag helped the home reach its full potential with the right furniture and objects, completing a meticulous and thoughtful room design.
